Field Operations Coordinator

Position Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Field Operations Coordinator to serve as the central point for maintenance scheduling and technician dispatch. This role plays a critical part in ensuring service requests are handled quickly and efficiently, with strong communication between our field teams, residents, vendors, and internal departments.
Responsibilities
Service Request Management
- Receive and process incoming maintenance requests from tenants and internal teams
- Prioritize work orders based on urgency and resource availability
- Assign tasks to technicians or external vendors accordingly
Scheduling & Field Coordination
- Develop efficient technician schedules and optimize daily routes
- Maintain real-time communication with field staff for updates and schedule changes
- Monitor progress of work orders and follow up on outstanding tasks
Vendor & Contractor Support
- Schedule vendor visits for specialized services and confirm completion of work
- Assist with tracking vendor performance and resolving service-related issues
Resident & Team Communication
- Provide tenants with clear updates regarding maintenance timelines
- Collaborate with property managers and maintenance leadership on escalated or complex issues
Administrative Support
- Maintain accurate records of work orders, technician logs, and inventory use
- Assist in reporting, performance tracking, and inventory management
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong multitasking, time management, and communication skills
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and ability to quickly learn new software
- Calm, solution-oriented approach in a fast-paced environment
Preferred:
- Experience in property management or field service operations
- Familiarity with maintenance or dispatching software (AppFolio, Yardi, etc.)

Schedule:
Full-time, Monday–Friday, with occasional overtime as needed.
